Billy spotted serving drinks at the Sambuca · Aug 8, 06:47 AM by Billy's Biggest Fan

Billy Currington has come along way since he entered the music industry with a hot selling debut album, collaboration on a Shania Twain song “Party for Two, a playgirl magazine cover and finally has been named an artist “On the verge” by powerful People magazine.

But it seems with music priacy on the rise even with a stellar resume like that Billy still needs to hold a second job… as a bartender. You see Billy who lics in the Gulch area, considers the Sambuca to be his stomping grounds and after 8 months of hanging out at the bar with his friends, he decided to put on a black buttoned down shirt and mix up some drinks for some no doubt very suprised customers.

The bars manager Aimee Schmittendorf says “He’s just interested in bartending, and he thinks it’s fun to learn about wine and mixing cocktails. It’s a nice way for him to chill out.”

Rumour has it Billy Currington makes his appearences mostly on Monday’s so if your in the area please swing on by and try to verify this for us.

Billy Currington Rocks @ Bagelfest · Jul 25, 06:57 AM by Billy's Biggest Fan

While attending Billy’s concert at this years Bagelfest we had the chance to interview several other luck female fans who were also in attendance.

Vicki Crawford was the first woman we interviewed who openly admitted Currington’s musical talent wasn’t the only thing that made her buy her ticket to the show, but she sure wasnt the only woman in attendance who claimed Billy Currington’s good looks was what drew her in, in fact she was so “driven” she travelled all the way to Mattoon from Chatham to see Billy rock the stage for the 7th time!

“He’s a great performer,” Crawford said. “His concerts are a lot of fun.” Quickly, though, she added: “And I can’t get enough of those blue eyes.”

Billy wows the crowd... again · Jul 21, 07:02 AM by Billy's Biggest Fan

Last night I had the pleasure of watching Billy Currington play live in front of over 1,800 people at the Gage County Fairgrounds and let me tell you it was quite the treat.

It was Billy’s second show in a row at the fairgrounds, unfortunately I couldn’t get the extra day off work to see him but let me tell you his performance last night was AMAZING.

The band was smokin’ and Billy was driving the local woman nuts with his impish charm and devilish blue eyes, the songs were all played perfectly and the only thing that got in the way was all the fans screaming but hey its all part of the experience.

Here’s a picture I snapped when the security guards weren’t looking.

Mike Barz, the Good Morning America weatherman, had the chance to chat live on camera with our favorite country superstar Billy Currington, watching it I have to say Mike seemed right at home and even miraculously managed to avoid reffering to country music as “Country & Western” which is a favorable sign that the recently inked ABC network partnership with the CMA is off to a good start.
